Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. A return may be for a refund, replacement or exchange credit. It is at our discretion what is offered depending on the circumstacnes and our discussions with you. For example: if a product is faulty, we may wish to repalce it at our cost. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be damaged or not as described in the listing you pucrhased from.

To request a return under these circumstances you can contact us at empiredetalaru@gmail.com. Please note that returns, if agreed, will need to be sent to our office in Australia.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label where available or make an alternative arrangement if not.

Postal Insurance

All packages are sent fully insured. As such if an item is damaged in transit we will need to make a claim with the post office to seek compensation. In this case you will need to supply informaito and images to show the damage caused in these circumstances. This may take a week or two to resolve and we ask for your patience whilst we deal with the postal authorities on your behalf. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
As our products are either one-of-a-kind or made to order, return and refund due to change of mind is not permitted. In this case all sales are final.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. In such cases the buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and insurance.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
