ITEM: Unique and exclusive to Empire Line Minis, these plates are offered individually - choose from: Medusa blue (photo 2) Medusa cream (photo 3) Versailles Sun King (photo 4). Please read all the information below before ordering. There are THREE choices you need to make to purchase this listing: 1) plate design - as per the photos for each colour way 2) plate shape - scalloped or round 3) finish - matte or gloss See the video which shows the difference between matte and gloss. The top row is gloss and the bottom row is matte. A gloss plate has the matte decal and then a coat of gloss sealant is added. The gloss finish looks like a more authentic plate but it is reflective of light. Some people prefer matte as it does not reflect light and displays the pattern better in some situations. The scalloped edge is what you see in the photos - a more traditional antique style of plate. A round edge plate is just that - a standard rounded edge. This listing offers single plates in a range of designs - if you would like a set of the same design, please increase the quantity accordingly. * OPTIONS * For 'plate design': - Choose your design number as per the photos eg: blue 2, green 1 etc For 'plate shape/finish' and finish: Choose your shape (scalloped edge or round edge) Also, choose a matte or gloss finish Options are: scalloped edge gloss, scalloped edge matte, round edge gloss, round edge matte Once you have your choices made, add the item to your cart. If you want to add a different design to the same order, repeat the above process until all that you want is in your cart. Sorry for the shouting capitals but I find people are not seeing the shipping time that Etsy advises once you order, and then they become disappointed when it takes longer than they thought it would to get their order. The reason I need this much time is: 1) my plates are very popular and I process many orders each week, so there is always a queue of orders 2) I want to ensure each plate is the best plate and not rush things 3) the decals need time to cure if I am to add a gloss finish 4) the decals have a multi-stage process to produce and this runs across a few days between stages (print, dry, seal, cure, apply etc) 5) I have a full-time day job and do this in my spare time - I love it, but I need to manage the demands or else I will have an anxiety attack! Notes about the product: >> These plates are NOT hand painted - I use a high-quality PRINTED decal which I apply to a white glazed ceramic plate. >> I live in AUSTRALIA and the orders ship from there - it takes time to reach you, but the overwhelming feedback suggests it is worth the wait. >> I set a standard 2-week production time to make your order - I will often be able to ship sooner than that, so please keep an eye out for updates to your order. If you have an urgent order please get in touch and I will tell you if I can do anything about expediting your order. FINISH: The matte option gives a satin surface, flat not glossy. The gloss finish gives a glossy surface. See the video which illustrates the difference in finishes. Hand created: I print, seal then apply each decal by hand, made to order. Decals need to be made over the course of two days to ensure the printed pattern dries fully and then sets. The nature of these miniature handmade items and the required production process is that there may be micro creases or mini bubbles in the decals. I will never send anything out that has any faults, but there is a possibility that there might be minor signs of the handmade nature of these items, and these will barely be visible to the eye from a regular viewing distance. These plates are not a toy for children and not recommended for people under the age of 14. They are not intended for regular wear and tear, but to display and admire. That said, the decals are secure, but they will not withstand washing or other kinds of abrasion. If exposed to water the decals will degrade and possibly come off. Please ask any questions you might have before purchasing. All orders are sent carefully packed, in a sturdy box, with tracking and insurance.
